TWO people have been charged after a parked Mitsubishi Triton rolled backwards into a police car.
Police pulled over a Mitsubishi Triton on Camp Cable Road at 2am on July 7.
Jimboomba police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said police would allege that the car rolled backwards as the passenger and driver switched positions.
The car hit the front bonnet of the police car and caused minor damage.
A 28-year-old Redlands man was charged with drink-driving after a blood alcohol reading of 0.172 was recorded.
He will appear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on August 7.
A 28-year-old Daisy Hill man was charged with failing to maintain proper control of a vehicle, obstructing police, willful damage and possession of a knife.
He will appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 31.
