A ROUTINE traffic operation allegedly uncovered 300 grams of packaged weed, methamphetamine, drug utensils and weapons after police searched one car.
Police searched a red Hyundai Accent on Waterford Tamborine Road at 6.30pm on Wednesday night and charged a 42-year-old Boronia Heights man and a 38-year-old Tamborine Village woman.
Jimboomba police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said they were charged with possession of dangerous drugs, failing to dispose of syringes, possession of drug utensils and possession of a knife.
Both are scheduled to appear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on August 7.
The traffic operation was held across multiple sites in the Jimboomba police district on July 11.
Senior Sergeant Waugh said nine drug drivers were charged on the night.
