A YOUNG Jimboomba mum is $100,000 richer after winning the lottery.
She plans to use the windfall to pay off a chunk of the mortgage,
The woman, aged in her 20s, was the first prize winner in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10232 drawn on June 19.
She wished to remain anonymous but told the Golden Casket official who confirmed the win she knew exactly how she’d use the windfall.
“It’s going to make a good dent in our mortgage and that’ll be fantastic. It will help set us up for the future,” she said.
The woman said she was still getting her head around the win.
“It’s just amazing. I’m so happy, but I don’t think I’ll really believe it until I see that $100,000 in my account,” she said.
“I haven’t played Lucky Lotteries for a while, but I just decided to buy this entry online and now I’ve won!”
The woman purchased her winning entry of two random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot continues to climb with draw 1105 offering $13.96 million. The Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is offering $3.75 million for draw 10233.
