POLICE are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at Crestmead on Saturday.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said two men approached the counter of a Burnstead Road petrol station at 10.15pm while one male remained at the door.
“The second man walked to a rear counter and threatened the console worker with a knife while demanding he walk to the cash register with him,” the spokesperson said.
“The third man, also armed with a knife, was attempting to open the cash register at the time and demanded the console operator open the till while he removed some cash. The second man demanded goods from the store.”
All three men fled the petrol station following the robbery.
A 24-year-old male console operator was not physically injured during the robbery.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
