THE case against suspended Logan councillor Stacey Lee McIntosh, accused of siphoning $180,000 from an engineering company in Coopers Plains, returns to Brisbane District Court next month.
Ms McIntosh faces one count of stealing as a servant. She is accused of redirecting client invoice payments and unauthorised refunds to her own accounts between June 2014 and July 2016.
The charges date back to before Ms McIntosh was the division 6 councillor. She has been suspended, reinstated and was recently suspended again following changes to the Local Government Act.
The charge appeared for mention in Brisbane District Court today. The matter was adjourned until July 13.
