TALK about tickled pink.
The F45 Jimboomba gym is turning pink to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event will feature pink-themed fitness classes, lucky door prizes, a baked goods stall with pink cupcakes on offer and a coffee van on Saturday, June 23 from 5am to 8am.
Husband and wife team Michael and Krystal Manley opened for business in November but have already made a name for themselves encouraging people to get active.
“Being that we live in the local area and have an amazing membership base made up of local residents, we love to be involved in community events, help charities and support our local organisations,” Mr Manley said.
“This fundraiser is our way of supporting friends, family, mums, daughters and anyone who has had their lives affected by breast cancer.”
“The true strength of F45 is its community, the support and encouragement you receive while training at F45 is unlike anything you will encounter. Our members are incredible people and we just want to show our support in any way we can.”
Mr Manley expects to hold similar events in the future in support of charities and local institutions.
F45 Jimboomba will accept donations from local businesses.
All proceeds from the fundraiser go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
