JIMBOOMBA Gymnastics Club staged its Going for Gold competition on the weekend.
More than 120 gymnasts aged 5 to 15 years took part in the competition. Most train for just an hour a week.
Club spokeswoman Toni Wallace said contestants participated in a tick and flick competition to recognise their growth as gymnasts and show off their new skills to family and friends.
Each child was awarded a certificate and a medal for their hard work.
