THE Jimboomba Redbacks over 35s Masters narrowly continued their undefeated streak after a hard fought home game win against Glass House Bribie Island on Saturday.
The Redbacks prevailed 38-32 despite an early disadvantage with key players sustaining various injuries.
Drew Fidler and George Van Heerdan produced the strongest performances while Liam Wilson won the TJ’s Pizza award due to his swift running abilities.
Wilson covered more than 12 kilometres in a mammoth match effort.
This match was the first time the Masters defeated Glass House Bribie Island and brings the team to six consecutive wins.
The under 14 Jimboomba/ Greater Springfield team defeated West Juniors White by more than 50 points on Sunday.
Redbacks player Alex scored most of the goals for the side.
Victory was sealed with a final score of 67-16 due to a team effort by all players with Luke, Callum and Max achieving players of the match.
The under 12 Jimboomba team played against Sherwood White on Sunday and won 35-7.
The under 9 Jimboomba side scored their biggest haul of goals in the season against Beenleigh on Saturday.
Cayden Hume was awarded player of the match award.
The under 8 Jimboomba Black team clashed against Springwood White while the Jimboomba Reds played Beenleigh on Saturday.
Both teams demonstrated consistent strength and skill.
The under 6 Jimboomba Black team played Springfield Navy while Jimboomba Red clashed with Springwood Red on Saturday.
Both games were competitive with Maxwell Flack and Nathan Kemp winning player of the week awards.
