LOGAN’S best and brightest gathered at Canterbury College for a Beenleigh Yatala Junior Chamber of Commerce breakfast.
Guest speaker Emma Willmann spoke on The Statement of Styling.
Facilitator Heather Christensen said about 65 students from Beenleigh, Windaroo Valley High, Canterbury, Trinity, Rivermount and Livingstone Colleges attended the monthly meets.
“We attract a diverse range of inspirational and motivational speakers who talk about their careers paths and journeys,” Ms Christensen said.
“Students have opportunities to learn how to run events, public speaking, correct introductions and presenting reports. There is a a huge focus on networking.”
The group hold an executive meeting every month. The October meeting announces a new executive.
“Students endeavour to hold one fundraiser per year,” said Ms Christiansen. “This year it will be a Colour Run in October. They decide who will be the recipient of fundraising.”
