JIMBOOMBA Gymnastics competed in the AGDA competition at Deception Bay at the weekend. In levels WAG one and two - These levels participated in a carnival where they performed their skills in front of an audience.  They were judged on each of the four apparatus and all received ribbons based on their performances.

All of the girls demonstrated how they are developing as gymnasts. WAG 3 - All girls successfully passed their level tests. Danika Downie placed eighth with her vault and Yana Atkins scored above eight in all four apparatus.

All level four girls passed their level tests, which for many was their first competition at this level. Mia Pascoe had a fabulous day receiving third on vault with a score of 9.066, sixth on uneven bars, sixth on balance beam and fourth with her floor routine.

Mia not only placed third overall, she qualified for the Queensland State Championship in September. WAG five - All girls passed their level testing with Erin Cradden taking out level five floor champion of the day with her floor routine.  Tiff-Annie Robinson placed sixth on vault and Gemma Miller seventh.

WAG six- Erika Duncan confirmed she is a force to be reckoned with by placing sixth overall.  She scored a nine with her floor routine and enjoyed performing her new routine ready for the State Championships in September. As this was a sanctioned event the girls were able to level test for their badges. To pass their level they need to score above an overall total of 28.

A large majority of the girls achieved this.
