JUNIOR Jimboomba Redback AFL teams claimed four victories over the weekend.
The under 14 merged Jimboomba and Greater Springfield team defeated Aspley by more than 50 points 64-13 on Sunday.
Tynan, Cooper and Fletcher were the top scorers with two goals each while Joshua and Alex scored one goal.
The under 15 and 17 Jimboomba and Beenleigh girls team also faced Aspley on Sunday.
The under 15 girls won 36-31 and the under 17 girls won 38-7.
Under six Jimboomba boys played their first game of the season on Saturday.
Jimboomba Black faced Beenleigh Blue and Jimboomba Red challenged Springwood Navy.
The youthful future stars of the game put in a strong effort.
The under eight Springwood Gold side proved too strong for Jimboomba Black, but the boys were credited for their persistence and teamwork.
Jimboomba Red under eight boys also took on Springwood Black.
The under nine Jimboomba Redbacks played a hard but fair game against Salamvale on Saturday.
Jahkai Thomson was awarded player of the game for his consistency on the field.
The under 10 Jimboomba side defeated Calamvale White after a slow start to the match.
The Redbacks won the game in the final half of the match through good teamwork.
