THOUSANDS of people across Jimboomba, Greenbank, Logan Village and Tamborine will pay their respects to those who have made sacrifices to defend the freedoms enjoyed in Australia and New Zealand today.
Men and women who have served in the defence force past and present have been honoured during dawn services across Australia.
Jimboomba will hold a march from 7am from the corner of Brisbane Street and Cusack Lane before the main service at Rotary Park at 7.45am. The Logan Village march will begin at 9.30am near the Logan Village school at North Street ahead of the main service at the Logan Village cenotaph at 10am.
The Greenbank march will start from 10am at Blackwell Street and the main service will be held at 10.30am at the Greenbank RSL.
Lest we forget.
