CLIMBING to the top of the trade comes naturally for a Logan Village tree climber who has a passion in the field.
Trav The Treeclimber owner Trav McNaught is a qualified arborist who identifies trees, their issues and problems then gives the best advice for people to maintain their plant and it's health.
"I fell into it 14 years ago and discovered a passion for climbing and working with trees by further education about the environment," he said.
He started exploring the landscaping field in Victoria to find a career he enjoyed doing and his origin as a tree specialist followed him up to his Queensland relocation.
Trav's main point of call is pruning, looking after large mature trees and removing dangerous ones.
However, he delivers on jobs related to anything in the arbiculture industry from mulching and fire wood delivery to garden pruning, looking after nice ornamental trees, hedging and tree lopping.
"Decay or root defects in trees might cause them to come down especially in spawn season," he said.
"I do tree inspections and cut down large trees."
Rev comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge and gives advice to clients.
"Keep an eye out for any sort of dead, dying or diseased trees in your garden," he said.
"I give remedies from pruning to mulching and fertilising."

Rev considers some of his business key strengths as having plenty of equipment, a good knowledge base about trees and being a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboculture.
"I am very professional and take care of peoples property when working in the garden," he said.
He is committed to growing the business, moving ahead and is held in good stead in the local community helping out when he can.
"I was driving through Jimboomba about a month ago on a stormy afternoon and a tree fell across the road," he said.
"My colleague and I cut the tree and took it off the road and got it cleared for all the other motorists on the road and were the heroes of the day."
The road ahead looks good for the local business operator who enjoys being part of the community with a vested interest.
“I love looking after my valued customers in the Logan, Jimboomba area to Beaudesert and Tamborine,” he said.
“I enjoy meeting people and offering good advice on trees and their garden.”
When it comes to knowing the community like the back of his hand Trav is engrained, with his family residing in the precinct. He is keen to lend a hand to tending to your garden soon.
