JIMBOOMBA Mates will hold their next men’s group session at a new venue on Tuesday.

Group founder Jason Carthouser said a new guest speaker would deliver a presentation at the Jimboomba Community Hall at 6.30pm.

“It will be the same open format,” he said.

“Nathan St Ledger from Chance to Change will come in and give a little talk on depression.

This will be the third Jimboomba Mates meeting since the group’s inception on February 13.

Mr Carthouser said there had consistently been about nine people attending the meetings.

“It is open to anyone and there is no pressure to say anything. You can sit in the corner and listen if you like,” he said.

“It is about being relaxed in a comfortable setting and atmosphere.

“We will definitely keep this rolling for the rest of this year.”
