THERE was a large crowd at the Chung Tian Temple on Priestdale to welcome in the Chinese New Year.
Cultural events including the light ceremony and the lion dance were among the array of celebrations as festivities kicked off on February 15.
There will also be a cultural open day at the temple on Sunday, February 25, which will include a variety of art and cultural activities.
Meditation, cultural performances, Tai Chi, music concert, tea ceremony, lion dance, Kung Fu performances, baby blessings and more will be featured on the day from 9.30am.
