A PARK equipped with a digitally interactive outdoor fitness course and 8.7 metre tower for children has opened at Yarrabilba.
The cross-training fitness circuit, available for individuals and fitness groups, can be used in conjunction with a training app.
The playground and fitness area, with barbecue and picnic area is in 8 hectares of parkland.
Available for individuals and fitness groups, it includes magnetic bells for weights training, a core twist and a bicycle.
The children’s play area includes the tower, two slides, three in-ground trampolines and an all-abilities swing.
A dog off-leash area is under construction nearby.
Cr Laurie Koranski said Logan was known for having wonderful parklands and Buxton Park exceeded all expectations.
Yarrabilba Community Association president Clinton Neumann said the park was a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood.
“Infrastructure such as this helps to provide opportunity for community building by promoting social inclusion through connectedness and is critical to the success of developing new areas,” Mr Neumann said.
