INFORMATION on accessing NDIS funding and early intervention for children with autism will be presented at a free workshop next month.
The AEIOU Foundation is presenting the workshop at Meadowbrook on Tuesday, March 20 at 9am.
A spokesperson for the organisation said they supported children with autism to develop independence and social and academic skills.
“Understanding and managing challenging behaviours commonly experienced by children with autism, leads
to improved lifelong outcomes for them and their families,” the spokesperson said.
The AEIOU Foundation offers a full-time program that helps children with autism develop essential life skills, independence and confidence.
The free workshop will be at Room L07-4.07 Hub Link Area, The Meadowbrook Conference Room, Griffith University Logan Campus from 9am to 10.30am.
