IT WAS a mixed bag of results to start opening round of Pennants. Div 1 beat Windaroo 4.5 to, Fourball matches were won with the team of Kim and Kitiprasert winning 2 and 1 and Bodhidatta and Bruminhent winning 7 and 6. In the singles, both Bais and Firdaus won their matches 5 and 4.Thongsom lost 3 and 2, whilst Namkang’s match was called off.
Div 2 went down 5-1 to Meadowbrook. First Fourball pairing of Rob Rochford and Ross Arandale losing 2 and 1. Second Fourball pairing of Skeet and McKay fought back from being 4 down with 5 to play to walk away with square. In singles Rick Forshey lost 6 and 5, Simon Hewitt lost 5 and 3, Eade fought back for square. Paterson lost 3 and 1.
Div 3 also had tough start to there season going down 4.5 to 1.5 to Redland Bay.
