THE Yarrabilba woman whose daughter was the subject of a search when she failed to get off a school bus on Monday has been arrested for stealing and drug possession.
Bobbie-Jo Langdon appeared in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
The 30-year-old woman was charged with three counts of stealing, and one each of possession of drugs, possession of drug utensils and failure to dispose of a needle.
She is due to appear in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on February 13.
A police spokeswoman said they would allege in court that the stealing charges related to the theft of handbags and clothing from stores in a Shailer Park shopping centre on December 24.
Police said they deployed significant resources when Ms Langdon’s five-year-old daughter failed to get off the bus from Jimboomba State School on Monday.
The girl was found hours later in the bus parked at the depot.
