TWO centimetre size hail stones have fallen at Harrisville, near Boonah, according to a warning issued by BOM.
A severe storm warning is still in place for parts of Scenic Rim, Logan, Ipswich, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Moreton Bay council areas.
The BOM warning stated damaging winds and large to very large hailstones are likely.

STORMS are forecast to affect the area between Boonah and Beaudesert by 2.35pm and Beaudesert by 3.05pm.
This is according to the latest severe storm warning issued by BOM at 2.08pm.
The warning states severe storms were detected on the weather radar near Boonah at 2.05pm.
Damaging winds and large hailstones are likely.

A SEVERE storm warning has been issued for south-east Queensland with damaging winds and large hailstones predicted.
The Bureau of Meteorology has warned that severe thunderstorms were detected on the weather radar near Boonah about 1.50pm on Wednesday.
The warning has been issued for people in parts of Scenic Rim, Logan, Lockyer Valley and Brisbane.
The storms were moving towards the north to north-east.
