A full of summer of reading adventures awaits keen bookworms at Logan libraries this month.
Logan City Council City Lifestyle and Customer Services chairperson councillor Steve Swenson said council’s Summer Reading Club would launch on Friday, december 8, witht he program set to run until January 23.
Councillor Swenson said keen readers need to register to take part in the annual program.
“They can either do this in person at their local library branch to receive a badge, sticker sheet and bookmark or sign up online at www.summerreadingclub.org.au,” he said.
“we want to encourage young people to read for fun over the summer holidays.
“This program offers a great chance to be involved in some special literary activities and discover some new Australian authors.”
