THE Mount Lindesay Highway has taken three positions on the Top 10 list of vehicle crash hot spots, according to the latest Department of Transport and Main Roads data.
Nearly 150 serious collisions occurred at the worst crash hot spots across Queensland between January 2014 and December 2016, resulting in 198 serious casualties.
Three intersections on the Mount Lindesay Highway are recorded:-
- Greenbank Road and Mount Lindesay Highway, North Maclean
- Boundary Road and Mount Lindesay Arterial Road (Boundary Road), Coopers Plains
- Mount Lindesay Arterial Road (Beaudesert Road) & Hellawell Road / Learoyd Road, Sunnybank Hills

Since January, 2017 the Jimboomba Times has been compiling a list of traffic crashes that have occurred on the Mount Lindesay Highway between Browns Plains and Woodhill.
The stats were released ahead of Fatality Free Friday in May.
Residents group Logan Country Safe City are currently petitioning the state government for a business plan to underpin ongoing safety upgrades to the entire transport corridor.
