The Jimboomba Times team is celebrating after reaching their goal of 10,000 Facebook likes before June.
The editorial and advertising teams at the Jimboomba Times strive to bring you the most important news from across a readership area that stretches from Woodhill in the south to Browns Plains in the north, Greenbank and Spring Mountain in the west to as far east as Logan Reserve and Waterford and views social media as one of the best ways to bring their readers the news straight to their phones, iPads and other devices while also producing a quality print product each week.
Journalist Georgina Bayly was thrilled to see the likes flick over to 10,000 after setting a quiet goal to reach the target by the halfway mark of the year.
"It was a long day on Wednesday waiting for that magical like to get to us," she said.
"Making a digital focus with our content allows us so many more opportunities and ways to be able to tell your stories and I want to thank you for sticking with us.
"With your support we have been able to achieve this milestone and we hope you will be with us for the next 10,000.”
"Remember to tell all your friends to like us to keep up with all the news, community events and sport on around the Jimboomba region.
