The Cancer Council will host a half day Mindfulness Workshop in Jimboomba on March 25, but time is running out to register.
Registration for the program is free, but must be completed by March 22 as spaces are limited.
The four-hour meditation program is set to help those affected by cancer learn to cope with, and navigate through, the challenges that a diagnosis can bring.
It is based on a combination of mindfulness meditation and cognitive therapy, is facilitated by health professionals and provides participants with meditation skills and tools to help them live more fully in the moment, rather than being caught up in worries.
