The hugely popular food truck festival, known as Eats and Beats, will return to Jimboomba in just one weeks time.
On Friday, February 24, Jimboomba’s Rotary Park will feature an array of food, fun and activities for families to enjoy.
City Image Chairperson Laurie Smith said the event, which was free to families, attracted up to 90 thousand people last year across a number of events throughout the district.
“The people of Logan have fully embraced this event,” he said.
“It is great to be able to move it right around the city so everyone gets a chance to enjoy the atmosphere.
“More than 30 food trucks offer residents a chance to taste cuisine from all around the world and enjoy a host of entertainment at the same time.
“We hope everyone will continue to show their support for the concept and will come along to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere at this family-friendly event.”
The next Eats and Beats will be held at Rotary Park in Jimboomba – at the corner of Cusack Lane and Johanna Street – on Friday, February 24, from 5pm until 9pm.
Logan City Council also encouraged residents to keep their eyes peeled for the location of the Eats and Beats event in March, as a “surprise” venue will be organised to celebrate the event’s second year in operation.
