The Mount Lindesay Branch of the Ulysses Club has urged residents to give a little more this Christmas, with just one week to go until its 2016 Toy Run Ride.
More than 50 gifts have already been donated and placed under the tree at the Middle Green Sports Club.
However, event coordinator Debbie Battle would “love” to see more.
“The more the merrier,” she said.
“If we could see another 200 gifts donated this year, that would be fantastic.”
The charity event, in its sixth year, generally attracts more than 100 motorcyclists taking part in the Toy Run Ride – set to kick-off from 3pm.
The “family fun” occasion aims to raise toy donations for the less fortunate.
“We have rides and stalls, and free face painting and movies for the kids,” Ms Battle said.
“We will even have a ‘show and shine your ride’ event, where men and women can bring along their pride and joy, to show it off.
“There will be a bit of everything for everyone.”
The 2016 Toy Run for The Christmas of Logan Mayor’s Christmas Appeal will be held from noon, and the fun will continue until 10pm.
