Police are investigating the death of a woman in Logan on Sunday after she was thrown from a horse and kicked in the head.
A woman has died after being thrown from a horse at Bahrs Scrub on Sunday morning.
The 46-year-old victim was riding the horse along Majella Crescent at Bahrs Scrub with another woman, when her horse was spooked by a passing car.
The animal bucked and threw her to the ground before kicking her in the head.
The woman suffered significant head injuries and died a few hours later in Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police investigations continue and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
