Dunamis Church Pastors Peter and Melinda Hartley are on the hunt for pantry items for this year’s hamper drive.
After a successful small drive last year, the pastors hope to receive donations from across the wider community now the Dunamis Church has grown.
Pastor Melinda said the drive would be targeting families in need in the Yarrabilba area.
“Christmas brings a lot of financial strain to families and we thought it was nice to receive something from us at the church,” she said.
“We want to say that we are standing with our community and there to support them.”
Pantry items such as cereals, chocolate, christmas pudding, juice, rice, tinned foods and spreads can be donated at Thom and Ann’s Restaurant Deli on Yarrabilba Drive and the Lendlease Sales Centre on Darrau Avenue during their respective opening hours.
