A 35-year-old man has been charged for grievous bodily harm, after slashing the arm of a 38-year-old woman at Forestdale.
Police allege the pair, known to each other, were involved in an argument about 12pm yesterday (Tuesday), when the incident occurred at a house on Dickman Road.
The woman was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for surgery to her injury.
The man will appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today (Wednesday).
