Five people have been charged after a police chase and manhunt through Brisbane's northside on Sunday morning.
It will be alleged an SUV stolen from Durack failed to stop for police in Boondall about 12.53am and again in Zillmere.
Police said Polair stayed with the vehicle until a spike strip on Yabba Street in Ascot stopped the stolen SUV.
The five occupants then allegedly fled on foot, leading to a manhunt involving the dog squad.
Police said all suspects were located nearby and taken into custody.
A 21-year-old Mitchelton woman was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, trespass and failing to take reasonable care of a syringe. She is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 29.
Two 18-year-old Bracken Ridge men as well as two 25-year-old men, one from Bald Hills and the other Mitchelton, were charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. They are expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
Investigations are continuing.
