The Yellow team from Jimboomba Tennis Club have brought home the gold from season three of the Tennis Logan City Junior Premier League (JPL).
The Yellow team, consisting of Caden Emmett, Krishan Bartlett, Levi Cairns competed against some of the best teams across Logan City to take out the top title.
Green team consisting of Saffron Cairns, Logan Taylor and Hayley Burt, came in runners up in their level.
While the Orange team, Alex Hefferan, Richard and Olivia Naughton, placed in third on the ladder.
The club has had great success with players in the league across all levels with first and second placings across seasons one and two.
Head coach Paul Stadnikoff said students Levi, Krishan, Caden, Logan, Richie and Olivia have played for two or three JPL seasons now and the results were showing,
“They are improving in all areas of game play and most of all - they take all wins and losses in their stride and keep coming back for more tennis,” he said.
“It is inspiring all the other students we coach as well.
"The boys in the yellow team showed team work from the start and are consistent in their game."
Each levels players are based on their personal ability and not age.
"We have an 8-year-old, Logan, who plays in green level because his playing standard is well above other children around his age bracket and he handles the challenges so well,” Stadnikoff said.
"He has played consistently this year and he just keeps improving.”
Jimboomba Tennis Club students will return to season four JPL in October to hopefully continue on a winning streak.
