The Redbacks seniors played host to Morningside on Saturday in a one-sided affair. A dominant display from the Redbacks resulted in them running out winners 27-21-183 to 0-1-1.
The Redbacks midfield took command from the start of the game led in the ruck by Kristian Rooks who was outstanding once again giving his on ballers first use.
Captain Tim Martin kicked 11 goals to continue his dominant form and in the process broke a long standing club record of 10 goals in a game.
Jake Wheeler, Rodney Shaw, Cody Smit and Josh Graham all played exceptional in what was a great team effort.
The Redbacks now face Woodsmen this Saturday at home.
Under 15s
Back on home ground the Redbacks under 15 girls faced one of their toughest games for the season playing their first game in division 1.
The girls were a solid team and together they rattled Yeronga, coming out with a fantastic win.
The whole team shone, every single player in the team was outstanding.
Isobel Morris was standing strong in the backline, stopping Yeronga from scoring, while Lana is showing more and more courage every game in the forward line.
Final score Jimboomba Redbacks 5-7-37, Yeronga 3-3-21.

Under 13s
The Redbacks did battle in this round with the Springwood Pumas at Springwood. What a battle it was with the Pumas winning 4-8-32 to 4-3-27. The Redbacks began well scoring the only goal in the first quarter.
Players such as Matt Gilham, Isaac Dawes and McDonald’s player of the day award winner Zac Bond worked tirelessly all day. At half-time scores were level at 2-3-15.
In the second half the team worked relentlessly with some great efforts by Quinn Hanna winner of the Flagstone takeaway award.
The Redbacks were valiant but were just not able to hold off the Pumas at the finish, special mention to Reyni Nathan, Joshua Gaynor and Seb van Heerdan whose performances stood out.
