Police will allege two break and enters on June 1 are linked after a bronze/gold Honda Civic sedan was seen at the two addresses.
The Dobell Court property in New Beith was entered through a rear door.
Jewellery was stolen between 1pm and 2.30pm.
There is CCTV footage of the vehicle at the address.
A Richmond Court, Munruben house was entered through a front door between 8am and 2.30pm.
Neighbours saw two people get out of the car in the driveway.
Money and jewellery was stolen from the property.
