A record number of entries have seen the annual Jimboomba Quota art show be a success.
More than 255 artworks were entered into the competitive section of the show and 55 entered into the new craft section.
Organiser Julie Newman said it was an excellent number of entries and quality was great.
“I just want to thank all the local artists who were involved,” she said.
Jimboomba Quota President Romy Farrer said the move to May had really helped bring people into the show.
“Having it earlier in the year it was just too hot,” she said.
“We couldn’t put this together without the support of the community.”
Quota’s International President Karen Murphy also took time out of her international schedule to visit the opening night of the show.
“This is great exposure for local artists and a broader outreach for the Jimboomba community,” she said.
“All the profits from the show go to empowering women and children.”
