Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia including worshippers from the local mosque at Stockleigh will participate in Dawn Services throughout the country and will volunteer for local RSLs in each state to commemorate the ANZAC Day.
Locally the worshippers from the Bait Al-Masroor mosque will pay their respects at the Greenbank RSL Dawn Service in Browns Plains as well as at the Anzac Day Parade in Jimboomba at the WWI cenotaph as well as at the main service at ANZAC square in the city..
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Australia will commemorate ANZAC Day by taking part in various volunteer activities, selling ANZAC badges and by joining ‘Dawn Service’ on 25th of April in all major states of Australia.
Hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims, young and old, will be part of ‘Dawn Service’ all over the country to reflect upon the sacrifices made by servicemen and women and those who continue to serve the nation.
The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, Mr. I. H. Kauser said,
“ANZAC is one of those significant days that bring our nation together to reflect upon the great sacrifices our servicemen and women made to protect us and our country,” he said.
“It is a day of great importance and a day when we as a nation should reiterate our pledge of loyalty and service to the county in war and peace. It is a day that gives us a message that we as a nation must unite and honour those who sacrifice their lives for us all.”
Mr Kauser said participation in ANZAC Day was just one of many ways Ahmadi Muslims showed their love for Australia.
“Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia always pledge their loyalties to their homeland; Australia and we are always ready to sacrifice our life, our wealth, our time and our honour for the sake of our country,” he said.
“I encourage all Australian Muslims to join in the commemorations of the event and reflect on the sacrifices and services of our men and women who work day in and day out to protect us and to keep us safe.”
