Ahmadiyya Muslims from the Stockleigh based Baitul Masroor Mosque have joined Ahmadiyya Muslims from across the globe in condemning the terror attacks in the Belgian city of Brussels this week.
The local members, through a statement issued by Mr I. H. Kausar, the national president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Australia have condemned the attacks in Brussels and offerred their condolences to the people and the government of Belgium.
“Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia offers deepest condolences to the victims and all affected by the Brussels atrocities.Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the innocent victims,”
“Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia categorically rejects extremism and terrorism in any form and anywhere in the world.
“Islam teaches us the sacredness and dignity of human life. Islam requires us being loyal and law abiding citizen of the country of residence.”
The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has strongly condemned the attacks.
“On behalf of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community worldwide, I express my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Belgian people following the barbaric terrorist attacks that have taken place in Brussels. Such heinous and utterly inhumane attacks must be condemned in the strongest possible terms,” he said.
“Under no circumstances does Islam permit terrorism of any kind or the murder of innocent people. In fact, the Holy Quran has said that to kill even one innocent person is akin to killing all of mankind. Therefore, those who commit such atrocities in the name of Islam can never find any justification. They are defaming Islam and destroying the peace of the world.
“Our heartfelt prayers are with the victims of these attacks and all those who have been affected. May the perpetrators of this evil act be promptly brought to justice.”
