
A Carrara man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after evading police at Waterford on Monday night.
The 21-year-old was also charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and with failing to provide a specimen of breath or saliva for a test.
Police attempted to intercept an alleged stolen vehicle being driven along Fryer Road, Eagleby at around 5.30pm.
Police allege that the driver sped away after failing to stop.
The vehicle was followed by Polair along a number of roads.
Police deployed road spikes on Nerang Street, Waterford and the vehicle stopped a short distance later.
The man was due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Police investigations are continuing.
