Bali residents and travellers have been shaken awake by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake.

The Australian Bali Info for Travelling Facebook page lit up with comments from tourists feeling tremors at around 6am on Wednesday May 8.
One traveller said "I woke up to my bed shaking", and another said it woke up her kids and "scared the living daylights out of me".
Some said it was a relatively minor tremor and that they "slept through it".
The earthquake originated in the Indian Ocean, 97 kilometres southwest of South Lombok, Indonesia around 5.09am on Wednesday May 8, local time.
BMKG, an Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical government agency, recorded that the earthquake had a depth of 78 kilometres.
The impact across several regions potentially covering, Badung, Denpasar, Gianyar, Tabanan Central Lombok, West Lombok, East Lombok, North Lombok, Mataram City, West Sumbawa, and Karangasem.
Volcano Discovery, a volcano tour operator and seismic activity updates site, said based on early information, no significant damage was caused but some people may have felt a light vibration.
No tsunami threat has been reported.
