DENTISTS and patients at Jimboomba’s J1 Dental Care became television stars for a day on Thursday.
The practice was chosen for the filming of BrainBuzz, a children’s science show to be aired early next year.
The crew showcased a day in the life of a dentist, with patients joining doctors Jeff Kho, Camelia Maris and James Keys.
Team leader Nicole Elliott said there had been excitement among patients and staff ahead of the filming.
“We selected some of our long-term patients to come in and be stars in the television show,” she said.

Practice manager Sarah Mackellar said the show intended to give an idea of what happened at a dental practice.
“We also wanted to show that going to the dentist is not a frightening experience,” she said.
The dentists showed what they did during a regular check-up, putting on different kinds of braces, and how they go about making a mouthguard for a patient.
Produced by Nine Entertainment, BrainBuzz will show children exploring interesting topics with silliness and comedy in every episode.
