Logan City Council has taken out three major awards at the Australian Marketing Institute’s (AMI) State Awards for 2017.

These prestigious awards are presented to organisations who achieved extraordinary success through innovative and effective marketing practices.

The team was declared the Marketing Team of the Year and also received two awards for the ImagiNation Children’s Festival including Creativity in Brand, Product or Service Marketing and Innovation in Product or Service.

City of Logan Mayor Luke Smith said the awards acknowledge the professional commitment and effective teamwork that goes into promoting the city and council services.

City Image Chair Councillor Laurie Smith said the City of Logan ImagiNation Children’s Festival was a big hit with Logan families.

“ImagiNation engaged children during the September school holidays with more than 150 free and low-cost children’s activities across the City of Logan,” he said.

“The festival is a chance for families to learn and play together, with various events aimed at encouraging inquisitive play and inspiring kids to explore their talents and creative potential.
