MOTORISTS have been asked to identify congested roads and intersections that make them see red.
The appeal comes from RACQ, which last year ran a poll that identified the Mount Lindesay Highway as one of the state’s worst roads.
RACQ spokeswoman Renee Smith said the club used survey results to lobby government for upgrades.
“Whether it’s traffic lights that take too long to change, delays at a rail crossing or something completely different, we want drivers to pinpoint locations that consistently delay their journey,” she said.
“Traffic delays are not only frustrating but congestion actually costs the economy through loss of productivity.”
Ms Smith said some red spots had been upgraded.
In the 2016 poll, the Mount Lindesay Highway ranked third after the Bruce Highway and Pacific Motorway.
The survey is online at racq.com.au/redspot and closes on October 31.
