A STAFF member at the Browns Plains police station for a quarter of a century has been given a novel guard of honour on her retirement.
Senior Sergeant Michael Leafe said Patricia Quarrie had seen many staff and police officers come and go during the years.
“Pat maintained the cleanliness of the inside of the station and the station grounds,” he said.
“She was meticulous in her craft and made it a pleasure coming to work each day.”
Senior Sergeant Leafe said Ms Quarrie had been part of the Browns Plains police station family for 25 years.
Ms Quarrie was given a novel guard of honour by police officers when she left the station for the last time.
