Munruben’s Chaz Mostert will look to rebound from a 10th place finish at the Bathurst 1000 earlier this month at this weekend’s Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars event.
Mostert will be hopeful of a podium finish at what is now his home track, with the former Beaudesert State High School student now living on the Gold Coast.
Munruben raised Mostert currently sits in fourth on the drivers’ leaderboard on 2208 points.
Practice sessions begin on Friday for the V8s with the first qualifying session starting at 11.20am on Saturday.
The first race of the weekend for Mostert and his competitors will be at 2.25pm that same afternoon.
Qualifying then begins again for Sunday’s race at 9.45am the following day for the final race of the weekend to begin at 2.25pm.
Both races are over 102 laps of the tight Gold Coast circuit.
As well as the V8 Supercars the Gold Coast 600 will feature Formula 4 races, the Porsche Carrarra Cup and the Australian V8 Ute series.
