TWO people from Yarrabilba were among six arrested after a fight broke out at a licensed venue after the Rathdowney Rodeo early on Sunday morning.
Two people were reported to have been injured during the fight.
Police said a disturbance broke out among patrons as the venue’s entertainer made requests for the last song on Sunday morning.
Queensland Ambulance Service was called to the scene about 12.40am to treat two people on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Rathdowney.
One patient with face lacerations was assessed by paramedics but did not require transportation.
The other person left the venue before QAS arrived.
Police said there were numerous charges against six people, including public nuisance and obstruct police.
The people charged are a 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman from Yarrabilba, a 36-year-old Jondaryan woman, a 21-year-old Kooralbyn woman, a 21-year-old Rathdowney woman and a 23-year-old Millmerran man.
Despite the brawl, police praised the rodeo organisers, security and community for their conduct during the event.
Rathdowney police said the rodeo ran smoothly, with only minor issues, such as underage drinking.
