GREENBANK residents are invited to chat over a coffee with councillor Trevina Schwarz and police officers from Jimboomba on Thursday.
The coffee with a councillor and a coppa event will be at Greenbank Shopping Centre from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
The events are hosted by Logan City Council and Queensland Police Service to spread messages about crime prevention and proactive approaches to personal and community safety.
The officer-in-charge at Jimboomba police station Acting Senior Sergeant Adrian Burns will attend.
The public can ask questions and discuss safety issues.
Police will be able to provide advice on personal and property safety and general crime prevention strategies.
The event on Thursday (October 12) will be at Gloria Jeans, Greenbank Shopping Centre, 251 Teviot Road, Greenbank.
Previous coffee with a cop and councillor events have been well attended and residents have used the occasion to thank police for their efforts.
