Logan Drivers and Riders are ready to hold their first south-east Queensland extravaganza harness, breed and hack show which will raise funds for the Mates for Mates and Soldier On charities.
Both organisations work to assist veterans and their families.
The event will be held on October 7 and 8 at Waterford Pony Club, Weaber Road, Buccan.
Club president Debbie Hamilton said the show would start with four rings which would include a harness, miniature horse and fun ring program.
“The fun ring program is for children, teenagers and adults who don’t compete in open hack rings and are beginner or getting back into riding,” she said.
“Other classes will include miniature horses and harness classes.
“The emphasis of the harness program is on beginner carriage drivers and ponies or horses.”
Ms Hamilton said Sunday would be devoted to breed and ridden classes.

“Our show has over 430 classes and has been approved as a Royal Qualifier so there is an opportunity to accumulate points towards next year’s Ekka entry,” she said.
Ms Hamilton said Anzac solider teddies would be some of the lucky door prizes on the weekend.
“Visitors are welcome to come along,” she said.
“Action will begin on at 8.30am on Saturday and at 7.30am on Sunday.”
