It was a sea of costumes and characters at Park Ridge State School’s annual creative arts nights last term.
The Prep to Year 2 show was held on September 13 and the Year 3 to 6 show on September 14.
Head of learning and teaching Sherron Butterworth said each of the classes worked hard on creating memorable performances, which were enjoyed by our school community.
“Our choir and senior band ensemble also performed,” she said.
“Both nights incorporated a high level of technology, which was used to showcase school activities.
“The student council were the Emcee’s for the evenings.”
Prep teachers Rhiannon Dicken and Tanya Neilsen directed the junior show and year 3 teacher Jenny Hegedus and year 5 teacher Danyelle Pyke directed the senior show.
“They all did an incredible job pulling the Creative Arts Night shows together,” Ms Butterworth said.
Ms Butterworth added a large thankyou to all the families that attended and to the P and C for their BBQ contributions.
“We would also like to congratulate all of the students who performed,” she said.
“They were outstanding and had so much fun.”
