Jimboomba the call out has been made, the Thunder women’s open rugby league team need your support at their grand final match this week.

The girls will play Inala in the hopes of becoming premiers for the division three women's competition.

Their game will kick-off the Brisbane Rugby League grand final festivities at 11am in Nundah.

Coach Greg Carson said after being wooden spooners last year, the girls have made the hard climb back up the ladder and they are ready to rumble.

“We have beaten this team (Inala) before,” he said.

“We did get a bit cocky and thought we had it in the bag when we played them two weeks ago and they managed to roll us.

“But this weekend it is on.

“It’s a last place to first place super story and we have appreciated the commitment to the game the girls and our followers have had.”

Head to Bishop Park, Nundah, on September 16 to support the Jimboomba Thunder women.

Entry is $5 and kick-off is 11am.
