Showcasing artwork by some of the best secondary school visual art students, Artwaves demonstrates the wealth of imagination and creativity present in the City of Logan and adjacent areas. Did you know that 75 years ago 20,000 American troops were stationed at Camp Cable? To recognise the 75th anniversary, a free family event will be held at St Clare’s Primary School, Comb’s St Yarrabilba – right where the troops were camped – on Saturday September 23. Learn to swing dance, find out about the camp and dress up in 1940s fashion, from 2pm to 8pm.
