This week my family went on holiday and I went to board at the new cattery at Yarrabilba Veterinary Hospital.
I am on the top floor in a luxury condo and I can see the whole world from my window.
I have lots of toys, a scratching post, a soft bed and fluffy blanket and ramps to access the different levels in my suite.
During the day the lovely nurses come in for a play and a cuddle with me in the big separate play enclosure.
I can even watch television-only cat friendly shows of course.
When I arrived, one of the nurses took me for a look around the big hospital downstairs.
We passed the laboratory and the special dog and cat wards and I saw a vet doing a dental procedure.

Another vet was performing orthopaedic surgery in one of the new operating theatres and a dog was recovering in a specially heated kennel.
That day, the vets were very busy with ultrasounds, vaccinations and consultations.
The nurse showed me my name ‘Stevie’ on a big screen television in the hospital where everyone can see my details and treatments.
My family must have said I was a fussy eater.
We went past the displays of different foods (always a favourite of mine) and flea and tick products (not a fan, but very important) before heading upstairs to the cattery.
From my window I can watch the puppies and their owners at Puppy Preschool (it’s very entertaining for a cat!) I can also see the self service hydrobath where owners come to wash their dog.
Thank goodness I’m a cat.
Yarrabilba Veterinary Hospital is an exciting place to be but right now, I am ready for my dinner and a cuddle and another nap.
Ah, it’s a cat’s life here at Yarrabilba Vet Hospital.
